Atlanta Plastic Surgery Take Part in Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium

Here at Atlanta Plastic Surgery, we take immense pride in our role as part of the larger plastic surgery community. Helping our patients achieve the best possible and longest-lasting plastic surgery results remains our highest priority. But our board-certified plastic surgeons understand that sharing the knowledge and experiences they have acquired in their collective decades of performing cosmetic and reconstructive surgery procedures is also incredibly beneficial. So in the spirit of education and learning, we are thrilled to announce that we will once again be participating in the 38th Annual Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium later this month.

This year’s Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium will be held from January 27-29 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead. Co-founded by one of our practice founders, the late Dr. Carl Hartrampf in 1984, this annual event has grown to include nearly 500 registrants from 15 countries and has become internationally synonymous with innovations in reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgery.

We’re thrilled to have multiple doctors participating in the Symposium again this year. That includes Dr. James Namnoum (Program Chair) and Dr. Franklyn Elliott (Program Co-Chair) . Our providers will be playing key roles throughout the three-day event, including moderating panels and/or presenting on important topics in breast surgery. These panels will include Mastopexy: Breast Transformation by a Comprehensive Approach, moderated by Dr. Elliott with a presentation by Dr. Namnoum. Dr. Elliott will also moderate a Breast Implant Panel.

Since its inception, the Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium has been recognized globally for hosting some of the world’s most renowned and innovative plastic surgeons, and as a place to share the most up-to-date and revolutionary techniques and developments in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. On this note, we are proud to announce that our newest plastic surgeon, Dr. Jonathan Nguyen will be on-hand assisting Dr. Loren Schechter during one of the symposium’s live surgeries, a gender affirming mastectomy.

It’s always an honor for our doctors to be able to meet, exchange ideas, and work with top-tier plastic surgeons from around the world. The spirit of the symposium is coming together in an effort to improve the lives and surgical outcomes for our breast surgery patients, and we are once again proud to be part of such a worthwhile endeavor.

Registration is now open for anyone who wants to attend this year’s Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium, either in-person or streaming online.
