      Breast Reduction

In a doctor’s experience as a cosmetic plastic surgeon treating patients in Atlanta, Buckhead, Stockbridge, GA and other areas, one of the most popular procedures among African American women is breast reduction surgery.  Breasts that are too large may have a tendency to sag and droop, as well as physical limitations and pain.

Breast reduction surgery involves making discrete incisions in the patient’s breasts, through which the surgeon removes excess breast tissue and skin.  The goal of surgery is to create firmer, more proportionate breasts.  An experienced plastic surgeon will try to ensure limited and discreet treatment.

      Tummy tuck

Abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, is a commonly requested plastic surgery procedure in African American patients.  Extra fat deposits can accumulate around the waist due to various factors such as pregnancy, aging, genetics or weight fluctuations.  Tummy tuck surgery can surgically remove loose skin and excess fat while tightening the weak underlying muscles in the abdomen.  The patient’s abdomen can become strong and flat by this procedure.

      Butt Augmentation

Butt enlargement is one of the upcoming procedures for women.  This procedure may involve the use of implants or fat grafts to create a more curved shape in the buttocks.  In some cases, the procedure may be combined with liposuction, tummy tuck or other surgery for a more harmonious result.
